Kids Church Picnic
The Kids Church Picnic has been held over the last years after the 10am Family Service, it an enjoyable afternoon for everybody that attend, although the picnic started off on rocky grounds with the promise of rain. After this shower had passed the afternoon began and hit off in full swing.
The barbeque lunch was underway and the jumping castle kept many of the children amused for most of the afternoon, however this was not all that was provided as many of the children also got colorful as their faces were painted.
A sense of community was also established as people from all ages got to know one another, either by chatting or by playing games such as bulrush or being a part of the egg and spoon races. It was also a chance for the leaders to build relationships with those children who were soon to enter the Kids Church program.
The picnic also provided an opportunity to talk to people about God in a friendly and warn environment as well as nurture and develop Christian friendships.
